I am in Phila, Pennsylvania, how will I find an alcohol treatment center?

After so many years of being an alcoholic, my dad finally decided to stop. But he doesn't know where to start. He is asking help from all of us, members of the family. We suggested to him to enter an alcohol treatment center. He agreed, but he wants us to visit him as often as possible. So, we decided to bring him to the place where we can easily drop by and say hello.

I admire your family for being united amidst problems in life. My dad encountered the same problem and was able to recover with the help of my mom and his doctors. You can contact their office using the links I have posted after this short response.

Salvation Army in Tulsa, OK has a long term residential program. Your local chapter should be able to get you in touch with them. Also, look in the yellow pages under alcoholism, there should be listings for 800 # referal services. Whatever you do, GET TO A MEETING AND GET A SPONSOR IN THE MEANTIME!!!! Good luck and prayers for you or the other sick one.

How can I locate an alcohol addiction treatment center within Ventura, California?

My childhood friend begged me to help him find one since he is a self confessed drug dependent and he wants to change for good. Please, help me.:(

Well, aside from establishing contact with the nearest health clinic or accompanying your friend to a specialist for proper consultation, you can simply check out the links below and see what they have in store for you and your friend. I honestly wish you'll have the help that you are looking for.

Good luck!

I want to locate an alcohol addiction treatment center in Rancho Santa Fe, California. How?

My father has been drinking too much alcohol lately, and I'm honestly alarmed. She developed the habit when my mother died two years ago. Please help me. :(

You don't need a consultant.

The state will require the place be run by an experienced certified treatment professional. If you have that, you have your consultant.

They will not accept the credentials of a part time or temporary consultant sorry.

You could open up a sober house and operate it a while then get your cetification and start your treatment center.

Facilities that provide a cooperative living arrangement (sometimes referred to as a sober living environment, tansitional housing, or alcohol and drug free housing) for persons recovering from alcohol and/or other drug problems. It is important to note that while sober living environments or alcohol and drug free housing are not required to be licensed
by ADP, business permits or clearances may be required by the local cities or counties in which the houses are located.
• Facilities with licenses from other departments (e.g., group homes licensed by the Department of Social Services; Chemical Dependency Recovery Hospitals licensed by
the Department of Health Services).
