Ticket Stub Value

How Does One Find Out The Value Of A Baseball Ticket Stub...

New postby Aja » 29 Oct 2012, 04:26

How does one find out the value of a baseball ticket stub for Lou Gehrig Day (July 4, 1939)?

I found the worth of the ticket stub for the Lou Gehrig Memorial Game (July 4, 1941) but not for the Lou Gehrig Day (aka Lou Gehrig Appreciation Day) game (July 4, 1939) where Lou gave his 'Luckiest Man Alive' speech. Any suggestions?

Have it appraised and/or graded immediately.
if you are not interested in selling but just interested in finding the value, another good venue would be to investigate a little there on E Bay

Funny-I was browsing e-bay about a month ago and looked up ticket stubs and some have value, mostly concert ticket stubs or old sporting events-not a lot of money but if you can find a collector of such................

I would save them and forget about them as if nothing else, someday someone just might enjoy looking at them and you never know about future value--ask any middle aged man about those baseball cards he chucked....

Value of a Red Auerbach sign Celtics ticket stub?

New postby Shaun » 29 Oct 2012, 04:26

I went to a Celtics game quite a few years back. My friend & I were early & happened to see Red Auerbach. I took a picture of him sitting with my friend, & he signed my ticket stub. Wondering what the value might be? I'm a HUGE Celtics fan, so it obviously means a lot to me!

Since Kerry Wood is almost unheard of these days, not a whole lot. You can thank Dusty Baker for ruining his and Mark Prior's careers.
