Well almost all auto manuals have copyrights so they are not free. The only place I know you can go for free info is Auto Zone on line. If you go to
www.autozone.com there is a link on the left side of the page that says repair info. Go to that and select Vehicle Repair Guides, it will ask you for a year, make, and model. The information provided is rather good, but they do not carry info on all models. You can also go to the link in the source section.
All Data is another on line resource but it costs 24.99 for one car and that is only for a year. There are longer subscriptions. The data there is very good and there is also advice for troubleshooting.
You can also try looking for a forum for your type of car. If it is a popular car chances are other people will have posted manual info on the forum for all to read.
