How Do I Remove Sharpie Marks From A Little Tikes Bed?

New postby Sue » 28 Oct 2012, 19:00

My son somehow manages to sneak a sharpie in his room, this marker appeared during his nap time and he has colored himself, his bed, his floor and his wall. Any ideas on how to get it off the plastic the bed is made out of will greatly be appreciated, I have tried everthing I can think of.
what is denatured alcohol?
i have tried rubbing alcohol, nail polish remover and also that clorox anywhere spray all i have done is fade it a bit.

You might try using the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Although I'm not sure it will work. You might just have to consider it precious art :-) Good luck!

Things You’ll Need:
A dry erase marker
A rag
A wet paper towel
Step1Color over the permanent marker marks with a dry erase marker.
Step2Then, wipe the area with a dry rag to remove both the permanent marker and the dry erase marker.
Step3Wipe the area down with a wet paper towel to remove any remaining traces of ink--and your item is as good as new!

I have a Little Tykes Red car bed I have been wanting to sell. At the foot of the bed (the hood of the car) is a toy chest and at the head of the bed is what they call the book shelf. It is for a twin size mattress.

Little tikes bunk bed. play are underneath. not the house one?

I am looking for the little tikes loft bed. it is not the ones that look like a house. It is a bunk bed, and underneath could be a bed, or a play area. It is tan and red. Anyone no where to get one. No walmart, no target, and no ebay. none sell them

Try this site, they have heaps of theme beds, or they might be able to tell you where to get the one you are after?

Can you use a little tikes toddler race car bed without the support wood?

Or does the mattress need something to rest on?

Put a mattress under the bed where the supprt would normally be. I had to do that also as my son broke the support board in half. you could also get a piece of plywood cut to the size you need

Have you tried craigslist.org?? go to that site, then your state, and then the area closest to you. You can also post an ad on there for what youre looking for. I buy lots of stuff off of there! Good luck.

Yes. However I bought single beds because kids grow out of these bed fast and then you are going to buy another bed. Make sure the mattress will fit a regular bed, once he grows out of this bed, and it will save you money
