I just bought a Kirby Sentria and was wondering if I had been taken. Price was $2100 and I got it for $1395 with two old vaccums. Guess I was concerned, other than the price, that there is virtually no ratings on other sites about how good a Kirby is against other vacuums.

I wish you had asked this before your bought it! I got one and I HATE it! It doesn't clamp together right all the time and it takes me about 30 minutes to an hour just to get it right so it will suck right. Lot's of other problems too. Doesn't shampoo like it should. I just hate it. I wish I had never bought it. Hope you have better luck with yours.
