Does anyone have a recipe from a cookbook for a Bosch Mixer about whole wheat bread that uses 2/3 c. honey?

The recipe is from a late 1970's or early 1980's cookbook with a lots of LDS quotes from their book of morman. The bread recipe also contained the same amount of oil, and a lost more recipes especially a fabulous whole carrot cake or bread.

Whole Wheat Bread for the Bosch

6 cups warm water
3/4 to 1 cup honey
3/4 to1 cup oil, I use light olive oil
3 T yeast
2 T salt
1 cup gluten flour
15 to 17 cups freshly ground whole wheat flour

Put all ingredients into the Bosch mixer using the 15 cups of flour to begin with. Turn on the mixer and continue to add flour until the dough cleans itself off the side of the bowl. Knead for 5 to 6 minutes. Take dough out of pan and divide into 6 pieces. Form each piece into a loaf and put into a greased loaf pan. I grease my loaf pans with non-stick spray. Allow the bread to rise about 20 to 25 minutes or until just above the top of the pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes

Is the bosch mixer the best mixer?

New postby Glynis » 15 May 2010, 15:46

My mother got the high-tech kitchenaid mixer and it doesn't mix dough. This feature is important to me. and when she tried, she burnt out the engine in hers.

I sell appliances for a living. While Bosch is a good brand, they do not have as long of a track record as KitchenAid. KitchenAid is one of the oldest mixers around in the U.S., while Bosch is a European company (many of their large appliances are made in NC) Bosch is nice, but I prefer KitchenAid
