We are in over our heads in credit card debt. Has anyone ever used debt solution companies and do they work?

Names of any reputable companies would be appreciated.

Go to this site: http://www.nfcc.org/ and find someone in your area. These are legit non-profit companies. They provide free credit counseling and have debt management programs available, if you qualify, for no fees.

Most of the companies you see advertising debt repair/counseling/consolidation will take fees up front and just trash your credit.

Did anyone settle debt with CREDIT SOLUTION?

I am with credit solution for 3month now. these days, im getting phone call from collection agency, saying that my creditor dosen't work with credit solution, and credit solution just want money and they are just telling me what I wanna hear. I called Credit Solution and the agent told me collection agent is just trying to scare me so i should not speak with them,, who should I trust? Did anyone settle debt by using Credit solution?

Check out the fair credit act @ www.ftc.gov

Check out CREDIT SOLUTION @ bbbonline.org

If you are able offer credit 50% of the debt. The hell
with the collection company.

What is the best solution for credit card debt?
I am way in over my head, I have 6 credit cards and I'm over $40,000 in debt. I have tried to take out a loan at the bank to consolidate but i got turned down. I need HELP!
