I want color contacts without the price do u no where i can get a free trial pair

Your eye doctor will probably give you a free trial, if you tell him you are interested in trying them.

My optician offered me a free contact lens trial which I excepted.?

When the trial was over and I was very pleased with the results I decieded to wear them full time. On my free trial appointment I was told the cost would be £9.00 per month. When i went back I was told my plan would cost £8.00 per month. That did not include my lenses. Which cost £12.00 per month at this time. I asked what the £8.00 was for and was told proffesional fees. Included on that was an eye test when needed. Relacement lenses if needed, check up when needed. Do all opticians charge a proffesional fee of £8.00 per month on top of the cost of the lenses, seems like they're charging me this additional fee just to order my lenses for me. Is this standard practice?
The trouble is my optican is always very reluctant to give me my prescription, or my childrens prescription. I wanted to get my childrens eye wear from elsewhere and asked for their vouchers. It turned quite confrontational.

Your optician is legally obligated to provide you with a copy of your prescription, so if he's playing games with you regarding this, it might be worth looking for another optician.

You don't have to sign up for a payment plan for contacts either. You can get your contact lens prescription from your optician too, and buy lenses from another optican or online, but your prescription must be less than 2 years old, but then of course there's no aftercare, so if you run into problems with the lenses, you're on your own unless you book another eye test.

Can I get a free trial pair of contact lenses if I've already had an exam?

I printed out a certificate from Freshlook for a pair of free colored contact lenses. If I bring this to my eye doctor where I've already had an eye exam for contacts, will they give me a trial pair without having another exam? I was just there a few weeks ago to get my exam and contacts and have my prescription too.

It depends on if the Rx the Dr. gave you was for the Freshlook contacts. Different contacts have different measurements so your Dr. would have to see how the Freshlook contacts fit on your eye. More Dr. visits may mean you have to pay for another fitting fee, it depends on the Dr.'s office. They can still honor the certificate, but you may have to pay to see the Dr.

What does "free office trial "mean? Contact lenses?

Does it mean you just try them on there at the doctor's office but you dont get to keep them? Or can you try that one pair on and then take them home with you?

I get free trials all the time to see how they feel. they order you a pair of free trials, you try them on at the doctors and take them home, cuz they dont need to keep them hah :)!

"The trial lenses have no prescription power and are marked with the word "test" so when positioned under your eyelid you can easily determine your favorite color."
What does that mean it is marked with the word "test" and what does that have to do with anything?

The word "test" is printed right on the lenses...and is quite visible.

Those lenses are only to use to be able to see the color effect on your eyes...they can't really be worn except to get an idea of the color.

They do that so that they don't get 50 million people writing in for free contacts that they can wear for a couple of weeks.

Hello I have never worn contact before and i am afraid to jump in and get and brand. I have asked around and everybody i know all like and prefers different brands. So if i went to the office with several lets say 4 different brands free trial certificates would they let me get a trial pair of each before i decided on a brand?

Those "free trial pair" certificates are just a marketing ploy to get you in the office

all new contact lens wearers are fitted with a trial pair. the doctor will discuss with you your eye conditions, habits, hobbies, etc. and help you pick the best lens for you and your lifestyle.

if you have never worn lenses before, the office staff will train you on insertion and removal, as well as cleaning procedures, and the doc should have you come back in a week r so with your lenses ON so that he can see on a microscopic level how your eyes are doing

if you live in the US, you should not be able to purchase lenses without a prescription, a contact lens or glasses Rx is JUST THE SAME AS a prescription you fill at the pharmacy.

EDIT: if the first lenses don't work, or you just aren't sure, ask the doc to try something else. he might not want to go through four different lenses with you (with four follow ups) but he should work with you until you have maximum comfort and visual acuity

I just got my contacts (the free trial pair for 2 weeks) for my first time today at Costco. And I had to do the training and learn how to put them on and take them off. I did it, so she (the eye doctor) said I can take them home but come back next week for a check-up and told me all the basic things like to wash your hands and clean them every night. Well, I accidentally threw one of my left contact away by ACCIDENT (stupid, i know) so I went back to the eye doctor and she gave me another pair of left lenses. But when I got home, I started practicing and I got my right eye contact in and was doing my left next. But then, I dropped it on the floor by accident and I was searching for my left contact lenses for like 3 hours but still couldn't find it anywhere. Of course, I was really frustrated at myself. So, I asked my older brother (who got his colored contacts at Costco) if I can go back to the eye doctor tomorrow and ask for another free left sample pair but he said she'll probably say no. So my question is: Can I go back to Costco tomorrow and ask the eye doctor for ANOTHER free trial left lenses pair since I lost it or will she get mad and say I have to buy it or something? Help please? (She kinda scares me by the way lol.) Also, the contact lenses brand is Acuvue.

I would imagine you are going to have to buy this one.
With you having this many problems with contacts, I would seriouslly consider glasses.
