The AOH in NYC has devoted much in resources over many years to viciously bar anyone carrying any kind of LGBT banner in the St. Patrick's Day parade here. From that I think they probably would be antagonistic toward the M2F thing, unless you were already post-op and undetectable.

However, they have teamed with Skylight Financial Service of Atlanta to provide a new direct-deposit service designed for "unbanked" employees.

The new debit account service will offer the benefits of an FDIC-insured bank account to unbanked employees--individuals who do not have a traditional relationship with a bank. Under the new service, those employees can receive a PIN-based debit card linked to an account that receives paychecks from their employers under a direct-deposit system.

The employees can then use their debit cards to "cash" their paychecks through withdrawals at ATM locations or make purchases up to the amount of money in their accounts. There is a fee, but according to New Orleans-based Hibernia, which operates offices in South Mississippi, "it is significantly less than employees could be paying now to cash their checks."

"Employees will be able to avoid the often exorbitant fees charged by merchants offering check-cashing services," said Byron Mauthe, product manager in Hibernia's treasury management division. "And by using a debit card, they can avoid carrying excess cash that could be lost or stolen."
