I used a purple based toner in my hair when it was blonde, and it went white. i think blue does the same. 'beige' implies that it wont be white white, but have a beige hue.
just try it, toner doesnt last that long anyway so when it fades out you can do something else if you didnt like it.

Can I use color rather than toner after I bleach my hair?

New postby Truman » 29 Oct 2012, 09:13

Wouldn't it be more permanent than toner? I'm thinking of getting the hair to a light yellow and then using a blue based blonde with 20 volume developer.

That works as long as you lightened more than you wanted.

example: You bleached to a platinum (10) and then you put an ash blond (8 or 9) over it. Your only worry is that the undertone (the blue) will grab too much. To prevent this you would only leave the color on as long as you would a normal toner (around 5 minutes)

If in 5 minutes it grabbed too much blue, simply add a bit of mixed bleach to shampoo in your hand and massage out the color. (with 20 vol bleach this should take around 5 minutes or so). The color will stay but the unwanted undertone will fade considerably.

Good luck.

Do i need a special color laser printer toner to print...

Do i need a special color laser printer toner to print iron-on transfer paper?

Can i get excellent results using normal toner, or i must use some special? Excellent results means durable impressions using appropiate iron temperature and pressure. Thanks a lot.

The key is good tranfer film paper. Office Depot and Staples carries it. There are also transfer papers made for inkjets. The color laser method is better and results in a longer lasting product but both are available. You can also use a black and white laser if you want but then again color is allways cool. Stay away from the xerox, okidata and other wax stick types of color printers though. They won't work the same.

The lady above can most likely be of great assistance to you. i will tell you of my personal experience with a product to do that. it took the color out. i was expecting more gray to show up. it turned my hair orange. so, one has to put another color on top of that. i did that and it worked just fine. my aim though was to see how i would look gray headed. i am not completely gray headed, but about half, i think. my original color is brunette. a stylist can do better than the products in store. good luck

Toner should fade out quickly on its own, with every shampoo. To get the color out you would have to buy a bottle of color remover, or a bleach wash. Both will definitely dry your hair out, so just heavily condition your hair afterwards.

Good luck, hope this helps!

If your hair is copper or red orange right? Then you want to cancel out the orange and have more red is that correct. I would use a red violet. It has more red than violet but it should have enough to cancel out the orange. I hope that helps, I couldn't be certain without seeing your hair.

A toner is a permanent pale color designed to add a tone or help diminish an unwanted tone on very light hair. Violet is a widely used toner for yellow. You must be pale to have these have a desirable outcome. They do not "even" out a poor bleach job. A glaze is a semi-perm product that can also add or diminish an unwanted tone but is also very shiny. They have their own developers and the same care should be used to apply these as any other color. Best of luck.
