Hair Transplant Costs

I have a receding hairline and am considering getting hair transplants at the temples. I guess I should ask a doctor but: how much does it cost? Will people be able to tell that I had the surgery or will it look totally natural?

I am 25 years old and the only place I am losing hair is the front hairline. It is receding quite a bit, especially at the temples.

I am wondering how old you are. The reason is because a man's hairline changes when they mature. It you find a company that is willing to fill that in - then they just want your money. Bear in mind, that cost and density of the hair transplanted go hand in hand. Are you losing hair anyplace else?? The most important thing about hair transplants are the artistry involved. That will determine how natural it looks. I worked for a well known company that was expensive and did great work - but they were horrible to their employees. Go somewhere for a free consult and info that you can see before spending money.

It depends so much on the Dr. and the number of graphs done. Most Doc's charge by the graft - I would say in the ballpark of $10,000. If you are considering doing it - do your research though. There are a LOT of quacks out there who should not be attempting this procedure. When my hubby did his he went to Dr. Victor Hasson of Hasson and Wong (he is da bomb!) in Vancouver, BC. There are plenty of websites you can visit online to get some feedback on Docs.

They look very unnatural and I would not spend a penny on it,ever.
Better have a crew cut or bald head then a transplant.
Who says that the crafts they do ,will hold?

I just wanna know approx how much does hair transplant cost? does it make a difference? im a female with female pattern baldness. i am using rogaine but it doesnt do nething. will hair transplant look good?
