Typically, hair in the donor area is permanent on most men suffering from male pattern baldness. However, there are other forms of Alopecia not linked to male pattern baldness, which are known to inhibit a more drastic loss of hair, sometimes affecting your whole head. If you think you might be suffering from a more serious form of Alopecia I suggest you consult a physician.
