Florida State University has a very good PhD program for CJ.

This degree is in high demand... especially if you are willing to go into education (teacher at the college level).

You absolutely can go to Graduate school for Social Work. However, you will need to complete all of the core social work classes in Graduate school that those with a BSW (Bachelor of Social Work) completed as an undergrad. It will take an extra year to a year and a half depending on how many classes you take each semester.

I am currently going to school for criminal justice will not graduate till next year in Sept.?

Is it to early to find a new job in that feild? Would employers want to hire me even though I don't have my degree yet?

Example of positions of thinking of applying for
Loss Prevention Manager, which I have some experience in.
Inventory Control, I have experience in.

What do you think my chances are?

You should go talk with your professors or a guidance counselor. A lot of schools/fields of study offer job opportunities (sometimes for credit) while you're still in college. They usually have information on internships, job opportunities, etc. Your professors most likely know people working in the field you're studying..so there's a connection right there.

I would suggest trying to get some legal experience if you can. This will really help when you start looking for a position for your first summer of law school. Why not contact law firms, prosecutors, public defenders or legal aid to see if you can work (even part-time or unpaid) and then just pay the bills with whatever work is available. The job doesn't have to be in criminal justice because you, presumably, want to be an attorney.
