Depends. Some universities are JUST online universities. If you get a degree from Western Governor's University, for example, everyone will know you got an online degree. Meanwhile, some universities do not offer online degrees, and your employers would know that, too. There are a few, however, that have both. In that case, you just get a degree from the university. There is nothing on the piece of paper that says it was online, so no one would know the difference. You'll need to talk to the specific university you have in mind to find out what their situation is.
