Has anyone joined the History Book Club? I would love to know your thoughts on it. Thanks.?

They must automatically put the question mark at the end. I didn't do it.
You just type History Book Club in your search on your Yahoo home page. I just joined. Its $4.00 for 4 books but there's shipping and handling BUT the total was only about $17.00. The selection is fantastic. The only thing you have to do is buy a book at regular cost within 6 months. The site explains it all. And no, I don't work for them. LOL
No, I'm a true blue American. This is offered here.

Assuming you are from the UK and referring to the Book Club Associates sub club, the History Guild, yes I have and the books are excellent. They offer some of the latest and best reviewed history books. I'm currently reading 'Pompeii, the Living City' by Butterworth and Laurence which was one of the best received books of 2005. My wife is reading Anthony Goldsworthy's 'Caesar' Remember though, you have to return the monthly flyer else you will finish up with books you dont want.

Well, first, I'm slightly confused at how you can get an 86 gpa when they only go up to 4.0 unweighted. Then, having alot of clubs does make you look good, but if you didn't do so well on your SAT/or ACT, then you might not get in. Also, you need some recommendations and an essay. You might have a shot, its just hard to answer your question because its so broad, and lack information.
