Insurance follows vehicles, so your company's insurance should take responsibility. Is it YOUR company, or the company for which you work? If it's your company, she should be covered. If it's the company for which you work, then the only snag you might have is if she was a non-permissive user. In that case, depending on the policy language, she may not be covered under that policy for the vehicle. You'd have to check to see if your policy on your personal auto would cover it. No telling, because it does depend on the policy contract. There are variations between companies, and commercial policies could differ greatly from personal policies.
I handle claims in PA, if that helps.

Is it worth it for me to sue my ex BIG company for getting epilepsy due to a truck accident at work.?
I have had 2 doctors say that the cause of my epilepsy was from head trauma caused by a truck accident I had at work. The issue is that my superiors at my ex company would pretty much force us to fudge our log books so that we could drive even though it was illegal. I have a friend that use to work with me that would in all likelyhood be a witness and say the same thing as they made everyone do it. I really don't want to sue my ex company because A. They are a huge major oil and gas company and B. I am not sure the headache is worth it. My epilepsy is getting worse though and the medical bills are mounting. I'm not going to ask should I but do I have a credible case that would stand a good chance of me winning to sue my ex company? I live in Texas if that helps at all.
My ex company does not have workers compensation. They pay for everything out of pocket or so they say. I have plenty of my old log books that show plenty of illegal shifts which are also used as a time sheet with different supervisors signatures on them.
I could also probably get more ex company workers and maybe but not likely current workers who would be witnesses. Any log they would produce to call me a liar would the original with a supervisors signature. I have a carbon copy of all logs in my log book. I have two neurologist who say my epilepsy was caused due to the accident. I had my very first siezure at work approx. a week later at work in the field which dislocated my shoulder(still dislocated which an MRI a third doctor would attest to). I have had siezures and hospital visits which have left me with scars and continue to do so. I know this will be a pain and I have a family attorney that I completely trust but with my illness I am looking for a really good answer that would make me do it.

IF you can prove that you got epilepsy from the accident, and you can find an attorney that won't be bought out by the opposition, it would be worth your while to sue. You will probably have the epilepsy for the rest of your life. Every county has a County Bar Association, call them and tell them your story, they will hook you up with an attorney who practices your kind of law. But DO do research on any attorney you want to hire. Not all of them are on the side of their clients.

Why are there so many accidents involving big commercial trucks, and what could the State do to reduce it ?
Truck drivers are on the road so many hours. When they have an accident, they are extremely dangerous for other users (cars, etc.).
The slightest error of a truck driver can change forever the life of his victim and family.
Isn't there something the State could do, like controlling speed automatically by satellite (and forcing the truck drivers to respect their limits)?
What else, and more easy to implement, could the State do?

If you are talking about those big semis, I think they are just too big to handle on the road safely. The State could instigate a better railway system so we can get all the big trucks off the road.
