An insurance company is considered to be good, not by the policies it has, but by its ability to honor its claims. What’s the point of an attractive policy, if your beneficiaries are going to have difficulties claiming the death benefits due to them? Make sure that you buy from a reputed
life insurance company with a good A.M.Best rating (A and above, the highest being A++). Other reliable rating companies are Moody’s, Finch or Standard and Poor. Always make sure that the rating is current.
