Does the Blame Whitee defense work for a murder Charge as a defense?

Has that been like the Chewbacca defnse from South Park?

It seems Obama is using that defense.

I would personally consider it murder but I'm out ranked in knowledge by a deacon of the church so I guess its not murder
I would much rather loose my life than take another

If a woman kills her physically abusive husband in his sleep is it self defense or murder?

Assume he likes to beat his wife with an aluminum baseball bat
What if his dad was the Sheriff and the husband vowed to kill her and make it look like an accident if she ever left him.

FYI - I'm not talking about me. If someone beat me with an aluminum bat I'd beat them with their own arms.

It's first degree murder and carries up to a life sentence.
If he is asleep then obviously he is not beating her. She has the option to walk away. The D.A. would have no problem proving that she planned the murder ahead of time since she did not kill him in self defense. I have a great-aunt serving a life sentence for shooting her husband as he walked in the door coming home from work.

What happens if you murder someone in your own self defense and flee the scene?

What can you be charged with? I'm taking a class in law and need help with this.

People don't seem to realize that there CAN be legitimate reasons to flee a scene after killing someone in self-defense. If there was another person in the vicinity threatening your life, fleeing the scene would be very reasonable. Someone commented that "if there is a lot of evidence for self-defense, it could be manslaughter". That's ridiculous. Manslaughter is a crime, self-defense is not. So I suppose it would depend on the circumstances but if it was truly self-defense, fleeing the scene should not affect the whether or not someone is charged with a crime if there was a good enough reason to flee. On another note, I don't understand why people are such jerks on here. You didn't post a question to have people tell you to look it up in your books. They should bite their F***ing tongue rather than post absolutely USELESS answers on here.
