He was with my teacher at the time and we were leaving for Sydney Australia for the World Cup Games that year. Jeff came to see us off along with a few others.
He was a real nice guy and friendly to every one. We all trained and worked out together and though he is only a good martial artist and no better or worst than any one else of his rank he is a wonderful person at least from what I saw when I met him. I even have a few personal one on one images of him and I too but their are not many on the net here is another

again this was 11 years ago!!
It was a pleasure to have met him for I have met others too with his status or more in Hollywood that are far too egotistical. Chuck is a great guy also but Segal & Van Damme are walking egomaniacs in my opinion. Other cool ones were Jacki Chan and Id love to meet Jet Li!! Ernie Rays Jr was amazing when i saw him. sure it was a lot of acrobatical moves all flash but it was fun to watch and he does have great technique if you look past the flash, he does finish each move solidly.
I loved Kenpo and was just recently promoted to 5th Dan in American Kenpo and also 3rd Dan in Shotokan. I DID learn more grappling in Kenpo than in Shotokan but I would not have given the Shotokan up for it also taught me a lot and together with others has made me a more rounded Martial Artist.
