Can You Sleep With Purevision Contacts In?

New postby Novella » 26 Oct 2012, 01:27

I was told they were only for day wear but i found this on a contact lens selling site.

Designed to be worn as a monthly daily wear lens or up to 30 days of continuous wear, which means you take the lenses out each night or even sleep in them for up to 30 nights. Then simply discard and replace with fresh lenses. Be sure to follow your prescribing eyecare provider’s recommended replacement schedule.

whos right?

Suitable or not depends on what your Eye doctor told YOU! Some people can some can't & I don't recommend it either way.

Don't know but out of all the contact brands I've tried, I like Acuvue the best. I didn't really like the Bausch & Lomb brand

Which lens solution do you advice me to use with my Purevision contacts?

I've been using Solo Care Aqua (Europa name of product Aquify by Ciba), it was good with my daily lenses. But I started to use Purevision and my lenses are uncomfortable in first 1 or two hours after I wear them. May it be because of the solution? http://www.staininggrid.com/ shows that this couple is not so perfect.

Which else solution would you advice me? I have problems of dryness and sometimes allergy, so i am asking to you.

We look at these questions, knowing that they have no universal answer. Which is better a Corvette or a Mustang, Coach or Prada, Emeril or Rachel Ray, Tag Heuer or Rolex?

There are people who can wear both contact lenses equally well, and both have similar durability profiles. There are people who can wear the PureVision lens and not tolerate the O2 Optix, and vise-versa. The manufacturer's representative would be happy to have one of their representatives pitch the case in favor of their lens. Afterward, you and everybody else could still not answer your question.

The O2 Optix lens is slightly less expensive than the PureVision lens. The PureVision lens transmits oxygen more easily to the eye than the O2 Optix. Whether these are significant factors for you and your wearing of contact lenses are all part of the discussion between you and your eye doctor.

Are Bausch and Lomb purevision contact lenses ok for dry eyes?

On the website, it says they have Aergel, which helps keep them moist and comfortable. And yet many reviewers have complained that they dry out very quickly. So which is the truth?

There are many different causes for dry eye and as a result people will have different responses to different contact lenses. Some people may comment that purevision dry out quickly but others may love them.

Its important to remember that the lens brand is part of your contact lens prescription and the person who can make the best call as to which lens is best for your eye is an optometrist after they look at your eyes.

Anyone have Bausch& Lomb PureVision contacts? I just put them in 4 the 1st time 2 day-very dry?

I hate them. They feel terrible and so dry. They move off center everytime I blink. And no, they aren't upside down, I checked. I'm losing my mind, they are driving me crazy! Also-part 2 -if eye doctor perscribed this type of contacts will WalMart let me buy a different type than he said

Call the eye doctor who prescribed them and tell him you're having problems. He might want to see you with the lenses on. Then he can give you a new prescription for a different brand if that's what you need.
I don't get my contacts from Walmart so I don't know that part, sorry.
