How can I find a reasonable business tax attorney to set up a dump truck business in Houston?

Looking to start a dump truck business in Houston area and want to do it right.

Contact the Corps of Retired Executives (CORE) and someone there can show you how to do it yourself for free. I owned my own business for several years and did all my taxes myself.

Once you know what is involved you can make informed calls to CPA's in your area and find the one you wish to take on.

My truck was in a hit and run and dealer plates were involved should I hire an attorney?

There was a witness and they did catch the guy but it looks like the insurance company is going to total truck. Can i hold the dealership company accountable at all?

Yes. If there were dealer plates on the vehicle, as long as they weren't stolen, the liability on the dealer plates should be covering the damage to your truck.

That's what dealer plates do.

**I'm assuming the dealer plates were on the vehicle that hit you.**

Which power of attorney do I need for my g/daughter that lives with me in FL her dads a truck driver?

My son and his daughter is moving in with me this weekend. He is a truck driver and gone for 2 weeks at a time. I will need to make medical and educational decisions for my grand daughter. We live in central Florida.

You need a general, durable power of attorney. You may also need health care directives and other forms. Additionally, there are other matters to be considered than just the medical treatment and education. Consult a local attorney in your area that practices estate planning. Any attorney attorney will help you. This is a "contract law" case which every attorney must understand in order to open her practice. Especially since you made your payments and have proof that your checks were cashed.
You don't even need an attorney in such an easy case. Just go see the Clerk of the Superior Court. As soon as the repo people receive the court letter, you will get your truck back..

That's likely an asset forfeiture action. The money is probably tied to drugs, or some other illegal activity, and the "lawsuit" is a requirement to officially transfer the money to the government treasury.
