Which Art Institute Of California Has A Better Location?

New postby Fallon » 29 Oct 2012, 16:15

I'm planning on moving to California to go to an Art Institute to finish my Animation Degree. However, theres quite a few schools and I'm not familiar with the areas. I was thinking San Diego, but San Francisco and Los Angeles are also choices. I like living near cities with lots of culture and places to explore, someplace near the beaches or an artsy area. Anyone with experience living in these areas offer any help?

San Francisco Art Institute of CA is located in South of Market, near the finanical district (downtown). Easier to find a part-tim job while going to school. Area surrounded by stores, clubs, business buildings, corporationsns, ect. Also Lots of rental condos and lofts nearby the school.

The education at all the locations is the same, so you'll have to pick the location based upon what you need.

If you are over 21 and like to have fun, then Las Vegas would be a good location.
If you want to go into computer animation for the movie industry, then Los Angeles would be the spot.
Cost of living in Vancouver is pretty good, but you'd have to check on out of state (country) tuition.
Denver would be good if you like outdoor activities.
Me personally, I would pick Portland or Chicago.
Here's a link to their locations.
