What's the best drug rehab for methamphetamine addiction in Bronx, New York?

My boyfriend needs help very bad. He's hooked on methamphetamine and its already affecting our relationship and his job too. I am afraid that something bad might happen to him. What's the best drug rehab at the Bronx?

There are actually a lot. You can call the Nationwide Addiction Assistance Helpline for more information about drug addiction and rehabilitation. Or you can also avail of counseling services in your area. The people there can give you great advice on the best treatment for your boyfriend.

What is the best rehab center? and how much do they cost?

New postby Ashley » 08 Jun 2009, 13:03

I have been looking up rehab centers that deal with not only addiction (alcohol) but overall rehab for anxiety/depression/mental health. I was looking at a few such as:
http://www.sierratucson.com/
http://www.cirquelodge.com/
http://www.themeadows.org/

My question is has anyone ever heard of any of these centers? What do you think of them and what would a 30 day stay at one of these cost approx.?

I think the best thing for you to do is to contact your own Primary Care Physician and talk it over with him/her.

Explain what you want to get out of the rehab. It could be that your local hospital is equipped to deal with this.

I checked into a hospital and was admitted into their psyche ward. They dealt with my drug addiction and my depression.

I got so much out of it. You can read more about my story at http://www.whatwinnersdo.com I have been blogging since I got out of rehab

Where is the best rehab center?

New postby Lilliana » 08 Jun 2009, 13:03

My dad and I wanted to put my younger brother in a rehab center due to his worsening drug addiction. We recently found out that he was on drugs when my father caught him doing a rail on our bathroom sink last weekend. My dad and I didn't want to waste our time and let my little brother get hooked on that garbage so we want to find out if there's any rehab centers that could fit my brother's need. He's not yet of legal age, so me and my dad are a bit cautious on which rehab center must we entrust him. Please show us any rehab centers you know, including their rehab program, policies, and amenities. All of your suggestions will be deeply appreciated. Thank you!

First of all, your brother can only make this decision. If he is not addicted, then rehab is not necessary. Speak with a counselor first. Only your little brother need speak with the counselor. Others will make him nervous and untruthfull. Addiction is a lifelong condition but only the addict can make himself quit. Look for a Crossroads facility if you have one. It's youth oriented.

What's the best drug rehab center here in South Amboy, New Jersey?

I was talking to my friend the other day and I was able to convince him to get admitted to a rehab. His family has already abandoned him because of his crack addiction. Can you help us make the best decision?

The kind of rehab that your friend will need depends on the severity of his addiction. You can ask for a consultation from counseling services in your area or you can also call the free 24-hour addiction helpline. You can find the phone number when you access the links I posted below.

I use to work for a chiropractor and I do recommend going to one, it will help you relief stress and the pain that you have.. but remember not to put a lot of pressure on that lower back for a while.
