We're heading up to the American river for camping and rafting this weekend with some friends. I used to go often but it has been at least 6 years since my last trip. Has anyone here been recently who can advise?

We've done the south fork each time in the past. usually the full day 21 mile trip. We've tried both Americanwhitewater.com and aarafting.com guides.

Is there a better package out there which does the south fork? My daughter is too young to do the other section of river so it would have to be a company who does the south fork.
