How would you be able to increase the energy of an athlete or sports equipment for tennis, to improve "work"

Include, Changes that could be made to the Racket. Shoes, Gear. The Atheletes positions. What could effect the work or energy and performance of an individual or tennis gear. What are some new technological or normal advancements in tennis, and tennis equiptment over the years, that proved to increase performance.

W = F x Δd
in other words, work equals to force x change in distance.
Therefore, work is done on an object when the force acting on it results in the object undergoing a displacement parallel to the force.

We also know that F=m x a
Force equals mass times acceleration

We sub in for F and find that W = m x a x Δd

We can control the mass of objects when in comes to sports equipments (i.e. make them from light weight materials). when we do that the athlete can do less "work" moving those equipments. He can therefore use less energy to move the equipment and will have lots of energy during the game. Because Work = Energy

In terms of tennis you can see and feel the difference by using the old wooden rackets vs. the new rackets made from lightweight materials such as plastic and carbon fiber. Other than that i don't know much about tennis equipment as i don't play the game myself.

In simple terms, reduce the mass of the equipment, u get less work which means less energy used.

You have to feel the rackets like Head (for power); Wilson (for control); Dunlop (power & control); Babolat (power)
Comfortable shoes: Nike (elegant style & design); Adidas; Reebok
Outfit: Adidas & Nike are comfort fits
Head bands: Nike & Adidas to protect eyes from sweat & hair.
Nike for ankle, knee, wrist gartered bands to ease tight your previous injuries. Do daily work-out therapies, execises to your injured joints to make them more flexible. This may permanently cure them plus do not over stress them. Take some rest or stop the play if you feel pain so as not to aggravate the injury.
Do not use metallic braces coz they may irritate the skin, joints when in contact during plays. Use gartered bands instead for flexibility when in rapid motion.
For any beginners in all types of sports..... Practice, practice, practice .... & a lot more practice... never ending practice.. whatever you use or wear..... PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT...ALWAYS

Any lightweight, large faced racket will do for practice/excercise. Don't look for brand names. A high, flat wall is all you need to practice if you're by yourself. Moving closer and further away from the wall will allow you to practice different shots.

Tennis balls are a completely different matter. DO NOT buy the no-name or cheap tennis balls packaged in plastic. They have little bounce and wear out easily.

You should look for tennis balls that are packed in a can shaped like a Pringles chip container. Any brand name tennis ball: Wilson, Penn, will do. Red balls have the least bounce, orange a little more, & green is the most bouncy. Beginners usually use the slower red tennis balls.
