Is There A Baby Diaper Changing Station In The Men's...

Is there a baby diaper changing station in the men's restroom?

If not, WHY not? This has crossed my mind and it's been bugging me! How do men (single or not) change their babies diaper if the woman isn't there? Because I know they have it in women's restroom, so why not the men's?

Many mens restrooms have baby changing stations in them to address this exact concern.

There may even be a national law requiring such. I would not be surprised if such a requirement was part of the National Family Medical Leave act or some other large legislation.

However, they are commonplace in most public mens restrooms that I can remember.

Why do people give me awkward looks when I'm changing...

Why do people give me awkward looks when I'm changing my baby at the diaper station in the bathroom?

My son is 7 months old and it seems everytime I'm out with him and change his diapers I get these weird stares from women in the bathroom. I've noticed it probably about a dozen times. Most of the time it's at Wal-Mart or some activity center. I mean it's a diaper station so I should be able to change him there. At first I thought I was just being paranoid but could it be because he's uncircumcised? I live in Ohio and I know almost every boy here is circumcised. Somewhere like 85% I heard. Could there be other reasons why my boy and I are getting weird looks from people? I'm not doing anything out of the ordinary. My son's genitals are pretty average looking other than him being uncircumcised. I mean they're not deformed nor is it enormous or tiny. What could it be? Are people just nosy?

I don't think it has anything to do with him not being circumcised. I have 3 boys and one is not circumcised (couldn't do to medical reasons) and I had the same response with all my children, people are nosey, plain and simple. I think people think its rude, why, im not sure, they are babies and they need to be changed, but I know exactely what you mean. I would just try and ignore then and talk and sing to your baby boy :)

I have no idea why they put those change stations out in the middle of the bathroom. Why should someone I don't know have to smell and SEE me change my baby??

Ever since I went into a Staples bathroom I think all public bathrooms should be like theirs....their change table is in the handicapped stall! Privacy, and I don't feel like I'm in the way or someone trying to leave the bathroom!
