This really bothers me and a lot of other states are putting restrictions on abortions too. I have mixed feelings about abortion...I could never imagine having one myself unless my life was in danger. But on the other hand it disturbs me when the government steps in and makes laws against it. To me, abortion is a very personal decision.

If a woman has a late term abortion, should the father have a right to give it a funeral?

I was asked this once by a young man, whose girlfriend was being taken by her mother to a state that allows late term abortions. Though he knew he couldn't stop it, he tried filing an injunction to take possession of the body for a funeral, but the clinic found out and incinerated it before they could be served.

Where did I say that I wanted to control your right to have an abortion? You seem a little sensitive about this and jump to conclusions not in evidence.

I think a funeral should be allowed and paid for by the girl who had the abortion. She killed it, so she should have to pay for it. If it's not in her body anymore then it's not her choice anymore to decide on the future of the dead child. A funeral should be allowed for the father to mourn. That's only right.

Edit: Jenn you're a sexist against men - nothing more nothing less. From your argument, every living child is soley the mother since they at one time were a part of her body. If you want to argue that way then men shouldn't have to pay support money for your living body parts that have only been separated from your body.

Can you name one famous political figure or doctor that is for late-term abortion?

I am writing an argument letter and as part of the assignment I need to find a real life person who is for late-term abortion since I am against it. This person kind of needs to be well known, at least a little bit. Mostly because I need to be able to look up info on them easily such as their address since we're mailing these letters.
