I am looking at a school for troubled teens in Montana called Turning Winds, Does anyone know if this is a?

Good school to send my son to? He is 13 years old and needs major help. I am at my wits end! We live in Ohio. Appreciate if there is anyone who has had someone at this school.

I don't know much about Turning Winds. But, from the web site it looks like what you need. http://www.turningwinds.com/

Another Montana locations - which may cost more but which has shorter sessions is Three Rivers Montana. I've heard that it is a good program. http://www.threeriversmontana.org/

You have no idea what you're in for. Perhaps it would help if you named the hellhole in particular, but as a whole, you can expect some truly bizarre, sexually perverse things. The people who run these facilities have a psychosexual fetish for torturing children.

If you don't come out of there hating her- assuming you survive- I will be very, very surprised.

I strongly recommend that you send your mother to the below websites before this gets started.

Are there any boarding schools for troubled female teen in..

New postby Birgit » 28 Oct 2012, 20:32

Are there any boarding schools for troubled female teen in Arizona?

I have a 15 year old grandaughter and she would like to pursue her schooling in a disciplined evironment such as a military school, or a boot camp etc. It would have to be a boarding school of type because she can't live with me. I live in a seniors only condo. I can't afford alot but want the best for her since she has experienced some traumatic things.

Do be very, very careful where she ends up. A lot of boarding schools are just that, boarding schools.

But there are "therapeautic boarding schools" where children are tortured regularly. Do some SERIOUS investigative work before you send her anywhere.

Boarding Schools for Non-troubled teens?

New postby Allison » 28 Oct 2012, 20:32

I need something that has payment plans.
Something nice and possibly with a rural atmosphere?
[I make average grades, so something that isn't very picky]

I would like a link to pictures and possibly more information.

Can anyone tell me the best Boarding School for Troubled Teens?

I have a 12 yeare old son. He has been diagnosised with ADHD and has an anxiety disorder. His father and I are divorced. His younger years were not very pleasant due to arguing from his father and I. I know if I don't do anything now, I will lose him.

Do you understand what they will actually do to him in places like that, which are not legally mental health facilities of any kind? Have you researched what actually goes on?

Aspen Education's Youth Care facility had a boy who suffered a bowel infarction. The staff never took him to the hospital and said he died in his sleep. (Dying in your sleep from a bowel infarction is impossible. The pain is intense and lasts for hours. He died screaming.) AFAIK the lawsuit is still ongoing.

Before you sign up to have your child psychologically and physically abused, I strongly recommend visiting the below websites and/or finding a real psychological professional for any real problems he/she might have.

Does anyone know of any schools in NY for troubled teens?

New postby Rickey » 28 Oct 2012, 20:32

My 14 yo son has become involved in a gang, and is demonstrating violent behavior towards his younger brothers and step father. He is completely disobientent, and disrespectful. He seems to think that he runs our household. Physically, he towers over the whole family. I've been researching online, but am overwhelmed.

Only serious answers please.
