.....First of all, there are number of skills taught be NLP trainers. In order to use the skills, you'd have to take the training to learn them. The training is usually expensive, but whatever quacks your duck.

You can search on NLP training for more opportunities.

Personally, I'm aware that while some people are intrigued by NLP and it's promises, it's a mixed bag of common sense and utter bullshit. So if you want to change behavior, study human behavior in Pscychology 101, 102, 151, 152, etc. Really learn about it. Forget these cheap tricks, most of which don't work most of the time.

The classics are by Bandler and Grinder.

"The Structure of Magic" is particularly good, as is "Frogs into Princes"

Best of luck to you,

Can you Recommend any Good books on NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming)?

I've been in search for books on Neuro-Lingustic Programming, but I have had a difficult time finding anything that reads any better than a crappy motivational seminar or a long-winded self-help volume.

Any suggestions?

I prefer books or journal articles that are up-to-date and at least somewhat academic in nature, drawing on actual studies, behavioral psychology, or any related field.

Thanks for your tips. :)

Well NLP is self-help and motivational, so I'm not exactly sure what you are looking for. You are not going to find books of clinical trials. What application of NLP interests you?

Here are a few that you may find useful:

*Reframing by Richard Bandler
*Frogs into Princes by Richard Bandler
*Presenting Magically by Ted James
*The Stuff of Thought by Steven Pinker
*Magic of NLP Demystified: Byron Lewis
*Hypnosis: A Comprehensive Guide by Ted James
*NLP: The New Technology by Steve Andreas
*Introducing Neuro-Linguistic Programming: Psychological Skills for Understanding and Influencing People by Joseph O'Conner

You don't need a free web site, I'll give you all the info you need right now. How to meet someone ? Go up to them and say " Hi ". How to make someone love you ? Not going to happen unless you be yourself. How to have a successful date ? be yourself. Any Neuro-linguistics you might need come on the third date.
