After a flood what are the steps you should take immediately after the water resides?

For e.g. Remove damaged carpet and drywall, plug in fans and heaters?

Remove all furnishings and carpeting. Strip the drywall off and remove all insulation batting in the walls. Use fans to thoroughly dry the area. Next, shut off power to the area and spray a 5 to 1 water/bleach solution on all structural wood, wall cavities, and floor surfaces. Then pressure wash the areas you sprayed with the bleach water solution. Remove all excess water from the area. Once again, use fans to dry the area. You are now ready to start refinishing the rooms.

Knock it in the head it's done. even if you do repair it ...it will never be the same. I wouldn't touch it. flood damage is irreversible unless you spend a lot of money...by then you should just buy another vehicle. If you have insurance to cover it...take the money and run,
