I am sorry. If the recovery didn't pick it up, it is most likely gone. But just in case, try this folder and see if it is there.

C:\Document and Settings\"your profile"\Local Settings

this may not viewable as it is a hidden folder. YOu can go to folder options to display all hidden objects.
Good luck

I ran into the same type of problem, and spent weeks searching the web for a freeware/shareware program to recover data with. No luck until I came across the one listed in the link below. It was listed at the PC magazine website, or one of those... Anyway, I've used it to recover data from a hard drive that became corrupted, and also from a sd card that I also thought I lost all data on. I am extremely pleased with this program and it's free!

Sorry Dude You Cant Recover Files From That Partition whom You Have Formatted,If it Really Very Important Then Go To Special Data Recovery Centres And Ask For Platter Transplantation.

It Will Cost You Much

If you did a system recovery this will delete any data or programs you installed on your computer after purchase. Your computer will be like it was when you bought it.

You should have backed up any data that you wanted to keep onto a removable disk before running the system recovery.

How can I recover lost data (while moving from USB hard disk to a desktop computer) after power serge?

I was taking my data from my laptop and putted it on an external hard disk, I re-transferred it to a desktop computer but when I was about to have 92% completed, a power serge occurred during the process and I lost the data on the hard disk because its an external hard disk, is there a program to recover my files please tell me.
(The process was by using the cut and paste method).
So I need a recovery program that recovers all types of recovery even cut and pasted files.
To be more specific the largest file I need to recover is 300Mb and the files are in all formats (from document files - video files).
Thanks for your help in advance.
