Can i use my DEBIT card instead of credit card to purchases services on Playstation network?

I have a warhawk game and i'd like to download one of the available downloads but apparently i don't have a credit card (only debit). Is there anyway i can transfer some of my money in the bank to the "wallet" on the playstation network?
Mine is Visa
Yes, there is a slim bird figure on the back of my card

What kind of debit card do you have?

I have a Visa electron that i just added to my account as a VISA card and it has worked since i got my PS3.

EDIT: Yeah Visa will work perfect if you just pick visa credit card from the list, All the information it asks for is on your card so it will work fine.

You have to have at least £5-10 in your account to add a card, Any time i've tried to add my card back on when i've swapped it for a friends when i've no money in my account i've have to wait till i had money in my account again to add my card again.

If your debit card is also a credit card (most are), then you charge just like you would a credit card, only it would automatically come out of or checking account.

Is there a way to take money out of my debit card when I have reached my daily ATM limit? What services available that let you swipe the card and sign and get money. I have done this when I went to a race track long time back. Are there services like this. If so please let me know. I know they charge quite a bit of fees. But sometimes I need it.

You contact your bank, and request a one time daily increase in your ATM limit. I did it with my credit union. No problem.

Most places where you can get money back, such as supermarkets (Safeway), and a good number of drugstores will allow you to get money back. Some such as Safeway will allow you the full $200 over the purchase amount. Some like Trader Joe's only allow $50. But you can only get the $200 if you haven't gotten cash back elsewhere for the day, such as your ATM.

How does one pay for services offered by Yahoo, if they don't have a debit or credit card?

I once had a card, but it is now closed. I wish to continue using Yahoo's services, but cannot pay by credit or debit card. How can this be done? I've been working on this since June, and have gotten NO response from Yahoo. Help, please.

Is there a service fee for a debit card or credit card?

New postby Amada » 29 Oct 2012, 00:44

When, I am at a gas station or at a restaraunt, I sometimes get charged with service fee for using a card. Do they charge a service fee on credit cards or debit cards?

For a retailer to charge you a service fee on a credit card is against Visa/MC rules. For a PIN based debit card transaction they may, but it's very rare nowadays. Most likely what you are seeing is debit fees assessed by your bank. It used to be very common for a bank to charge for debit card transactions, not as much now. I suggest if the fee is coming from your bank, either ask them to put you in another program or find a new bank.

I'd go to a children's hopsital and buy lots of toys. Or to the Ronald McDonalds House in your area and take it as a tax write off. And they are good people.
