Now days many students they always use cell in collage campus. it will create a bad impact to other students. so don't you think it should totally banned.

What would these students do if an emergency occurred and they have no access to a land-line phone anywhere.

If mobile phones were banned at the Virginia Tech Campus during the Virginia Tech Massacre that occurred back in 2007, many more students would have been murdered. However, because students were able to call out for help only 32 students were murdered versus hundreds that could have potentially been lost if cell phones were banned and help had not arrived when it did.

Cell phones need to be better regulated but banned, bad idea and for the reasons that I stated.

On campus? Sure. We're adults, you really can't stop us. But in class? Absolutely not. It's a distraction, and very rude to your instructor. And your cell phone is not a calculator. I told the class they had to get a calculator, and most of them just brought their cell phone to class. Guess what - your cell phone can't do logarhithms. F for you.

No they should not be banned. they should be put in silent vibrate mode while classes are going on.unless, it is an urgent call only, is to be answered and other calls are to be unanswered or you can send sms that you would call latter on.
